Harrogate Railway 0 - 3 Knaresborough Town

Knaresborough Town started pre-season with a win against a new looking Harrogate Railway side. Plenty of minutes were had by all players involved which is a great way to start pre-season

Town broke the deadlock early in 8th minute when a ball down the left hand side found Dom Creamer who played it into the box for Cartman to dummy before Ben Parkes smashed home the opener. It was not long until the second goal was added again after some great work down the left hand side from Creamer he managed to beat his man on the way into the box, his shot was saved but only as far as Cartman who drove the ball into the bottom right hand corner. Cartman made it 3-0 mid-way through the second half, Town were awarded a penalty which was taken by Cartman and saved however he was on hand to put in the rebound for his second of the game. Few chances came after that and Town went in 3-0 up at half time. Second half saw a much changed Town side as 8 changes were made. Railway did have some chances which Trialist keeper was on hand to make some fantastic one on one saves before Railway saw another effort come back off the post. Heath did nearly add a 4th for Town but his header came back off the upright before the rebound going just wide. No further goals in the second half saw the game finish 3-0 to Town.

Next up Ilkley Town as pre-season continues
