Nigel and I are incredibly grateful for the trust placed in us to function as co-chairmen for our club. We are fully aware of the responsibility that accompanies this position, and we promise to fulfil them to the best of our abilities.

We express our sincere gratitude to outgoing Chairman Peter Plews who’s dedication and commitment has set a high standard for us, and we will strive to continue the excellent work that he and others have done before.

We have a strong and dedicated committee, and every committee member brings unique skills and ideas to the table, and it is our goal to ensure that everyone feels valued and heard, everyone’s opinion matters.

Our team management for both our men and women’s football teams are a group of individuals who are all incredibly hard working and dedicated to producing teams that can compete with the very best at the level of football we play in.

In the coming year we will face challenges, but we are confident together we can overcome them, you will see this belief in our new hashtag that will be going on all our social media going forwards. #StrongerTogether

We will continue to grow, learn, and succeed as a team. We are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and look forward to working with everyone both on and off the pitch.

We will plan for the future of the club, which includes promotions up the pyramid in both or male and female sections should the opportunity arise, merging with Knaresborough Celtic who have a fantastic set up for the junior players of our town. By completing this merger, we will be stronger as a club and we can sustain football for everyone in Knaresborough and the surrounding area for decades to come.

We are very much a community club with a close working relationship with the Rainbow Care group who provide dementia day care across North Yorkshire, we have just announced an exciting new partnership with local charity Henshaws, a charity which supports people with sight loss and a range of disabilities to achieve their ambitions and we have started working with Evolve College Ripon, which is a small college in Ripon for full-time students by providing work experience to their students who are preparing to start their working careers, we have also launched a programme to encourage football participation with local schools in Knaresborough and surrounding villages, if you don’t hear about this from your school, ask them about the free family tickets we are giving away each week to each age group in your school.

We are always looking for volunteers to come on board and help us with the day to day running of the club and have asked for help from individuals and businesses to help us get our ground ready for the start of the season.

To achieve our ambitions, we will work hard at bringing in funding organising our own events at the club, but we also need help in the way of sponsorship from businesses to help us. For this sponsorship we will advertise the business in our stadium via advertising boards and on our clubhouse tv screens on match days, on our website and social media platforms and our monthly newsletter, for more information about sponsorship opportunities please email This email address is being protected from spambots.
