New Partnership with Henshaws.

We at Knaresborough Town Football Club are committed to being an asset at the heart of our local community and in addition to local football partnerships we have links with other organisations in the area. As part of our community strategy we are now delighted to announce a new partnership with Henshaws.

Henshaws is one of the UK’s oldest charities and they have been helping people living with sight loss and a range of other disabilities for over 180 years. We are fortunate in that two of the charity’s major assets, the Specialist College and the Arts and Crafts Centre, are situated on our doorstep and we hope that by working together with them we can bring added value to the fantastic work that they do.

We have already announced the launch of our new Knaresborough Town Lottery and we are pleased to advise that a percentage of all tickets sold will be donated to the Henshaws’ charity, so if you haven’t already subscribed to the Lottery please do so, as every little helps.

It is early days and further work has to be done to work out how to get the best out of this new partnership, be it the sharing of facilities, contacts or skills and we will keep everyone updated on developments via our website, social media platforms and our new Newsletter which is due to launch at the beginning of April.

Henshaws’ objective of “supporting people living with sight loss and a range of other disabilities to go beyond expectationsis a fantastic concept and we at Knaresborough Town are excited to be a part of it.
